When it comes to choosing photo to use on your canvas we are sure that everyone has a special or memorable image in mind.

We get many questions about what image we can work with and the answer is we can work with just about anything as long as its the original image. We can get great results from photos on canvas in hard or soft copy format which leaves you with many options on which photo you may want to send.

Hardcopy

You can either scan your image in yourself or send the image to us by post for high resolution scanning. This is free service and we always send the image back. Our professional scanning equipment ensures we get the best quality from your photo to make the canvas print

Softcopy

We can work with most images anything from 300kbs upwards which in layman's terms is anything taken on a 1 mega pixel camera or phone camera and up. As long as you get the image to us without decreasing the size we can work wonders.

Square Pegs for round holes

If the photo you have is square then you generally need a square canvas and the same can be said for rectangular images and canvas shapes. You also need to think whether the photo is a portrait or landscape as that will also be the frame shape you will end up having the print on

Choosing the size of your photo canvas depends on where you will put it.

All in all we at Design-a-Canvas offer a very consultative canvas printing service. We never print without checking your photo by hand for quality and blemishes. If the image is not good enough we will say and you can either lower the frame size or replace the photo or even get a refund.
