The image you send
Electronic Images - These need to be taken on a digital camera. The lower the mega pixels and resolution of the image, the more likely it is to become pixelated or blurred when enlarged.
Photos - If you send a photo we can blow this up but the image may not be as clear due to this process. If this is the case we would always send you back a proof to see if you wish to proceed.
All images have different needs - we have the ability to wrap the image around the frame or keep the edges plain (colour to be confirmed depending on image and preference). Whatever the problem Design-a-Canvas will consult you to get the best possible look:
Wrapping - requires either 4cm (classic frame) or 6cm (chunky frame) on each side of the picture to go around the frame so the image needs to be reasonably central. If there is not enough image to go round the frame we may be able to 'reproduce' the image - with a little magic from our artist we can artificially extend the picture so you miss nothing - this may occur additional costs which our artist will contact you about before proceeding
Plain Edge - we can border any images that need the full width of the canvas and do this in any colour you wish.
Once you have sent us the image , order and payment we aim to get your canvas to you within 48 hours of receipt. All postage and packaging costs to the mainland UK are included in the price. Please contact us if you would like a quote for delivery outside the mainland UK.
